Meeting Rooms
The Wellman Public Library features two great spaces available for the public: the Riverboat Room and the Scofield Study Room. When not in use for library events, these rooms are available to reserve for the public. You can learn more about our room reservation policies here.
Riverboat Room
Seating 56 in chairs or 36 at tables, the Riverboat Room is the perfect location to host your small event such as speakers, birthday parties, or community gathering. The small kitchenette offers sink access and a coffee urn. The room features a projector, screen, sound system, and microphones to allow easy display and communication for your event.
The Riverboat Program Room is only available during library hours. You will not be able to set up or clean up outside of regular hours. Please be sure to plan your event accordingly.
All reservation requests must be approved by the Director before they are finalized on the calendar. Your reservation is not complete without Director approval.
You are expected to clean the room after your event. If you have any questions, please contact library staff.
Scofield Study Room
Seating up to 6 people, the Scofield Study Room is the perfect space for small meetings, study groups, solo study or zoom meetings.
In order to best maintain the rooms, no food is allowed in the Scofield Study Room. Any beverages must be in closed, leak proof containers. Whiteboard and all trash must be cleared when you leave.
