We are having a blast at the library this holiday season! Our Paint Poured Ornaments events and Holiday Party were big hits. We had a great time at our First Annual Cookie Exchange and our Cupcake Wars event was filled with laughter and fun. Want to learn more about our upcoming events? Wishing everyone the happiest of holiday seasons and brightest new year! The library will be closed December 24 & 25, as well as December 31 and January 1.
We will be ringing in the new year with our Noon Year’s Eve party at 11am on Monday, December 30th in the Riverboat Room. Children are invited to help us celebrate 2024 and count down to the “noon year.”
We will also be hosting our Trivia Night Fundraiser again this coming February 22 at Parkside Banquet Hall in Wellman. Join us for a great evening of trivia with friends and help support the library!

Happy 2025! We are encouraging everyone to kick off the new year with a fun reading challenge. Pick up one of our logs from the circulation desk and read for 21 days this month for your chance to win a prize.

We have been having a great time being creative here at the library. Our coil basket making event was so much fun and we are loving all of the participation in our Tiny Art Show. Interested in joining in the art show and getting creative? Stop by the library to pick up a tiny canvas or bag of clay to create your own artwork to display.

What a delicious evening we had on Tuesday as we enjoyed the tastes of Spain at our monthly Cook Around the World event! Our next Cook Around the World event will be on February 11th at 6:30 and feature the flavors of Guatemala. Try your hand at cooking a Guatemalan dish and join us for a delicious potluck!

Our Puzzle Competition on Tuesday night was a full house. Competitors raced to see which team could complete a 500 piece puzzle in only 90 minutes. With a great playlist in the background, there was a lot of fun and laughter throughout the event.

We have a variety of selections beautifully wrapped and ready for you. Simply read their “dating profile” and pick the one that sounds the best to you, check it out, and give it a try.
