What a fun week it’s been! We had a great presentation Saturday morning from Kathy Wilson about dangerous fashions throughout history. On Tuesday we watched the movie Coco while we enjoyed ice cream floats. After the movie, we made Day of the Dead masks like the ones we saw in Coco.
Thursday was all about noise! We made several DIY musical instruments to go along with our Libraries Rock Summer Reading theme. We even passed out a few extra noisy instruments to take home as well. Apologies to all the parents 🙂
To finish out the week, we are having a presentation on Genealogy this afternoon. Susan Clark, from the Washington County Genealogy Society, will be giving us some pointers on how to get started tracing our family tree. Come and join us!
There will be so much more fun to come next week too! The Washington County Sherrif’s Department will be here on Tuesday to talk about Summer Saftey. On Thursday we will be making Wind Chimes for our craft day. Check out our Library Events page for all the upcoming programs!
