Meet our Team

We are a small team of librarians and are always working on ways to improve the Wellman-Scofield Public Library and serve our community better. We love what we do, and we do it with passion. We look forward to working with you.

Carrie Geno

Director

After a few years break, Carrie is back. After almost a year of enjoying her role as Assistant Director, she has now stepped into the Director role at the library. She enjoys working with patrons, creating new programming, and is working hard to see the Library Expansion Project come to life.

In her free time, she loves baking, gardening, and world travel. So far, she has traveled to 9 countries and looks forward to seeing many more in the future.

Carrie’s current number one coffee shop order is a chocolate chai.

Nicole Castillo

Assistant Director

Nicole joined us this spring as our assistant director. She is enjoying her role and creating fun teen programming for our Summer Reading Program.

When not at the library, Nicole enjoys time with her family and building her homestead.

Nicole’s top coffee drink is a decaf Americano.

Megan Harris

Children’s Librarian

Megan is back at the library as Children’s Librarian after a couple years break. She is enjoying getting back into story times and creating fun children’s programming.

In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, live music, and thrifting vintage items.

Megan’s top coffee drink is a dirty chai latte.

Laurelin Geno

Clerk

Laurelin has been enjoying her role as library clerk for over a year and a half now. She greatly enjoys assisting with the children’s programming, helping patrons, and her duties as clerk.

Outside of the library, Laurelin enjoys video games such as Animal Crossing and Pokemon Go, creating art and crafts, and traveling with her family.

Laurelin loves raspberry-lime Italian sodas or s’mores cream slush.
