We are so excited to get our Summer Reading Program started! Our theme this summer is Libraries Rock! There are so many fun events to attend and lots of great prizes to win! Be sure that everyone is registered before June 1st to participate in all the fun! You can register online or in person at the library. Reading Logs will be available for pick up at the library after June 1st. We are kicking off the SRP with a free skate at the Wellman Skating Rink on Friday, June 8th from 1:00-3:00 PM. We will have weekly prizes starting on the week of June 11th of participants who meet their weekly reading goals. For event dates, check out our Google Calander or Library Events page

We are trying something new this year for our Tween/Teens (6th-11th grade). For each week during the SRP if you stop by the library and check out at least 1 book to read you will receive a scratch-off ticket and an entry in the grand prize drawing. a scratch-off ticket might win you a free movie pass, restaurant gift cards, or so many other great prizes. There is no need to register ahead of time for the Tween/Teen program. This program begins June 11th and participants can earn one ticket/entry per week through July 21st.

We will also be continuing our Adult Summer Reading Program. Adults who register will pick up a special bookmark from the library to log their reading (audiobooks count!). Once you’ve read 2 books, bring your bookmark back to the library for a scratch-off ticket and an entry in the adult grand prize! There are so many great prizes for the adults this year! Don’t miss out! You can register online or in person at the library.
