New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, but here at the Wellman-Scofield Library we celebrated a little early today with some of our younger patrons who couldn’t stay up quite so late. We got together today for our annual NOON Year’s Eve party where we made some noisy shakers, hats, deliciously fashionable pretzel necklaces, and played lots of games. We counted down at noon along with a slide show featuring pictures from WSPL events through out 2017. We had a New Year’s toast with 7-Up (in fancy glasses!) and made lots of noise. Although our library remodel is still in its planning stage, we are able to use that space (next door to our current location) for larger events like this! It may not be fancy but it gives everyone lots of room to run and have fun!

The library will be closed on January 1st & 2nd so that our staff can enjoy the holiday with their families. We wish you all a Happy 2018!
